Legal
Terms of Use
Effective August 29, 20261. Acceptance of these Terms
These Terms of Use govern access to Signalytix websites, applications, and services (the “Service”). By creating an account, accessing the Service, or using any Signalytix feature, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
If you use the Service for an organization, team, school, club, or other entity, you represent that you are authorized to accept these Terms on its behalf. A parent or legal guardian who authorizes a minor’s use is responsible for that authorization and for helping the minor understand these Terms.
2. What Signalytix provides
Signalytix is an evidence-first athlete intelligence platform. It may support Athlete Profiles, Evidence and Film submissions, testing records, verification workflows, recruiting discovery, Watchlists, comparisons, alerts, and AI-assisted search such as Ask Signal. Features may change as the Service develops.
Signalytix does not guarantee recruiting interest, scholarships, roster placement, athletic performance, eligibility, admission, or any other outcome. Scores, signals, search results, and comparisons are informational tools—not professional, medical, legal, academic, or financial advice.
3. Accounts and eligibility
- Provide accurate, current information and keep it updated.
- Protect your login credentials and do not share accounts.
- Tell Signalytix promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
- Use only the role and permissions legitimately assigned to you.
You may not impersonate another person, create misleading identities, evade a suspension, or access another user’s private information. Signalytix may require identity, role, Profile Authority, or guardian authorization checks before enabling protected capabilities.
4. Athletes under 18
Athlete information may concern minors. A profile claim or protected profile-management action for an Athlete under 18 requires the authorization required by Signalytix policy and applicable law. Self-attestation alone may not establish guardian authority.
The Service is not directed to children under 13 for independent account use. Do not submit personal information for a child under 13 unless Signalytix has provided an authorized, legally compliant guardian process. Contact Signalytix through the official support channel if information may have been submitted contrary to this rule.
5. Your content and permissions
You retain ownership of content you lawfully submit, including profile information, Evidence, Film, photos, and corrections (“User Content”). You grant Signalytix a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, process, format, and display User Content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, improve, and provide the Service according to your settings, permissions, and applicable law.
You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to:
- submit the User Content;
- identify the people shown or described;
- authorize any requested public display; and
- allow Signalytix to process it as described in these Terms.
Private Evidence is not made public merely because it is submitted. Publication and verification remain subject to role, privacy, authority, review, and eligibility rules.
6. Verification, corrections, and AI
Signalytix distinguishes submitted claims, Evidence, reviewed facts, and derived Signals. Submission does not guarantee verification. Signalytix may reject, limit, label, correct, suspend, or remove information that is unsupported, unsafe, unlawful, misleading, or inconsistent with platform policy.
AI-assisted features may interpret questions or suggest results, but AI output does not automatically become a verified Athlete fact and does not independently determine account access or Profile Authority. Users must evaluate results in context and may use available correction or dispute processes.
7. Acceptable use
You may not use the Service to:
- violate law, privacy, publicity, intellectual-property, or safety rights;
- harass, exploit, discriminate against, or endanger any person;
- upload malware or unlawful, deceptive, or abusive material;
- scrape, harvest, resell, or build unauthorized datasets;
- bypass access controls, rate limits, review, or verification;
- reverse engineer or interfere with the Service except where law permits;
- use private Coach interest, Watchlists, or nonpublic Athlete data outside authorized purposes; or
- represent an AI suggestion or unverified claim as a verified Signalytix fact.
8. Third-party services
The Service relies on third-party providers for functions such as authentication, hosting, databases, media storage, monitoring, and AI processing. Their services may have separate terms. Signalytix is not responsible for third-party services outside its control, but it selects and uses providers to support the Service’s operational and security requirements.
9. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service and may request account deletion through available account controls. Signalytix may restrict or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect users, comply with law, investigate misuse, preserve platform integrity, or enforce these Terms. Certain security, audit, dispute, verification, and legal records may be retained as described in the Privacy Policy.
10. Service availability and disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, Signalytix disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. Signalytix does not promise uninterrupted operation or that every item of third-party or user-supplied information is complete or error-free. Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Signalytix will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost opportunities, profits, data, or goodwill arising from use of the Service. These limits do not apply where prohibited by law or to liability that cannot legally be limited.
12. Changes and contact
Signalytix may update these Terms to reflect product, legal, or operational changes. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or another reasonable channel, and the effective date will be updated. Questions or legal notices should be submitted through the official Signalytix support channel identified in the Service.
